First up you’ll head over to the monumental Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, and spend some time at the market at the church’s base as your guide tells you all about Germany’s Christmas traditions.
 
Next up you’ll head to the postcard-perfect old town of Spandau, in Western-most Berlin. After passing the the charming 14th century church you’ll enter Berlin’s largest Christmas market where you’ll have time to shop for hand-crafted gifts, or watch the festive brass band.
 
Last up you’ll be making way to one of the most famous markets in the whole country, in front of the fabulously restored Charlottenburg Palace, once a summer home of the Prussian royal family. Warm yourself up with a few cups of warm mulled wine before joining your guide on the train back to central Berlin.

Some 300 stallholders compete enthusiastically to see who has the best decorations, from lights to angels and pine boughs. Top-class choirs and musicians perform nightly in the courtyard of the Old Palace, with its towering Christmas tree. Families love the outdoor skating rink, miniature steam railway and Grimm’s fairy tale figures. Take home seasonal treats from the century-old covered market. While there Don't miss the Porsche Museum and the Mercedes-Benz Museum; nearby Ludwigsburg complements its Baroque palace and churches with an elegant Baroque market.
